Wedding Party

Q: Who do we invited to the rehearsal dinner?
A: You can either have a more intimate party, with your families and the wedding party, or you can have a larger affair and invite out-of-town guests. Many people do this to ensure that guest who have come in for the wedding are entertained the night before, too.

Q: Should we have a receiving line?
A: If you are having more than 50 guests at your wedding, it will be hard to greet them all without a receiving line. The line offers you a chance to greet everyone properly, as well as meet many of your spouse's guests.

Q: Am I supposed to include vendors, like the band I hired and my wedding photographer, in the reception dinner?
A: It's nice to feed your wedding professionals if they're going to be working a four to six hour reception, plus the ceremony. You're not exactly obligated; but you will probably get better service from well-feed professionals.
